Richard
and Mieko, Tokoname
Richard and Mieko have a studio in the heart of the Tokoname pottery
path. Both an established potters with strong ties with the community.
Richard who admits having a Bernard Leach influence in his works, studied
in the U.K. and have been living in Japan for more than seven years. Meiko
studied ceramics in Kyoto. Both does workshops in Europe and United States.
A warm couple who welcome visitors who come to their Tokoname studio.
